After decades of working on rebrands and websites, you can say we know a thing or two about design. 🤓
In fact, because we’ve learned so much over the years, it was a BIG challenge to choose what to apply to ourselves and our own brand. Not to mention, figure out how to make the time in our busy workload. The cobbler’s children have no shoes, right?
We finally prioritized our brand and website to reimagine the user experience and offerings, just in time for our Client & Partner Celebration and Hispanic Heritage Month. 🥳
Every website done right takes a huge team effort; ours was no exception. From the photographer to the copywriter, to the designers and developers, everything was designed and written with intention.
Captiva’s Fresh New Look and Website
As with all our engagements, we got clear about who we are for (and who we are NOT for), we honed our key differentiators, and doubled down on the uniqueness of our brand. This helped guide our copy development.
Next, we refreshed our logo and decided to drop the word “Branding” to focus on just our name, Captiva to create a more minimalist look. We then changed the dot on the “i” in our name and incorporated our tagline in our secondary color, turquoise green.
For our website, we used best practices and new trends that applied to us, including switching from Wix to a WordPress site.
We leaned into our secondary green color palette to balance out the bright orange to add more contrast and make it more accessible. We moved the About to the footer to keep the top navigation menu as clean as possible. We also developed our story and services to better humanize our brand. And of course, we prioritized the user experience on mobile to make it easy to navigate.
Thanks to our FLAMTASTIC web team for bringing our vision to life! We’re a tough client to please. 😉
